Riverwalk’s most dynamic transformational project to date, The Pavilion, has only just begun, but it is already making headlines. A recent article featured in Banker & Tradesman chronicles the 15-year growth of Lupoli Company and how Riverwalk has transformed the landscape of Lawrence.

At Lupoli Company, we see possibility where others cannot. Older, often abandoned, buildings can be overlooked or even an eyesore, but with the right vision, they offer new opportunities for a community’s future. Repurposing aging structures and creating a new hub for residents and businesses to thrive in a place that was previously underutilized has tangible cultural and practical value, like environmental sustainability and local economic benefits, all of which are highlighted in this piece by Steve Adams.

Stemming from Sal Lupoli’s search for a commissary for Sal’s Pizza, the 12-mill building acquisition has evolved over time to create a thriving life, work, play development with a new stage about to take shape. With scenic views of the Merrimack River, The Pavilion at Riverwalk will feature upscale office, restaurant and retail space with a full-service conference/function center, waterfront restaurant, outdoor parks and a unique structure for 1,200 vehicles with a regulation-size turf football field on the top level. Plus, this construction coincides with an expansion at Riverwalk West’s 250 Merrimack Street location, where 400,000 SQFT of raw space is being transformed into 272-unit luxury loft apartments.
