Outside Sales Representative | Hospitality

Position Summary: The Lupoli Companies – Hospitality Division Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop outside sales accounts for continued product distribution. 

  • Meet --- exceed (!) sales goals. 

  • Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients. 

  • Instrumental in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations. 

  • Complete weekly and monthly reports. 

  • Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients. 

  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing. 

  • Understand and promote company programs. 

  • Obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients. 

  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders. 

  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. 

  • Work closely with production team to ensure orders are filled in a timely manner. 

  • Work closely with production team to ensure adequate materials are on hand and available. 

  • Answer client questions relative to credit terms, products, prices and availability. 

  • Mentor other colleagues after refining your own skill set. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Retail Grocery. 

  • Solid experience in sales specifically Food Industry. 

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. 

  • A commitment to excellent customer service. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. 

  • Computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus
