State Advisory Council For The Department Of Unemployment Assistance: Serving as a member on the advisory council allows Sal the opportunity to impact individuals who are in need of temporary assistance through establishing and improving upon various unemployment programs and services. Co-founder And Vice Chair Of The Lawrence Partnership: Sal’s efforts to expand upon and invigorate local businesses in the City of Lawrence have led to a collaborative approach to identifying and implementing projects of transformational change.
Chairman Of The Merrimack Valley Chamber Of Commerce: Sal’s commitment to economic development in the Merrimack Valley underscores his support of small business growth through innovative initiatives and collaboration. The Merrimack Valley Chamber is one of the largest chambers in MA serving a B2B network of more than 1,000 member businesses.
Vice Chair Of School Committee, Chelmsford, MA: Sal is an ardent advocate for families and youth in his community and as Vice Chair he is able to support the mission and goals that impact the educational quality in Chelmsford.
Since 2003, Sal has impacted and transformed one of the most economically challenged cities in Massachusetts. His efforts have generated sustainable businesses and job growth while investing $250 million on acquisitions and renovations within a 46-acre mill complex in Lawrence. Today, Riverwalk represents more than one-third of the City’s business tax base with approximately 5,000 people, 200 companies and 250 loft style residential units.
